A LITTLE  ABOUT MYSELF
João Gabriel is a Lisbon-based multidisciplinary creative from São Paulo. He does have a Brazilian accent, but he insists he doesn't because he grew up with his Portuguese grandparents.
During the past 17 years, João built a non-linear creative career focused on art direction, creative direction, filmmaking, social media strategy, and political strategy.
For over 11 years he worked exclusively as an Art Director at agencies like Cheil, Lowe, and StrawberryFrog creating campaigns for clients such as  Samsung, Pepsico, Henkel, Smirnoff, and Bayer. And had works recognized at Cannes Lions, FIAP, Clube de Criação de São Paulo, Luerzer's Archive, and Prêmio Abril.

Then in 2016, he followed other paths that he was passionate about and run his own studio. Where he developed the branding and the launch strategy for more than 10 brands, contributed to the creation and strategy of nine political campaigns, led the creative team of a data-driven digital agency on complex crisis management strategies during the pandemic, and worked on more than 50 film projects, from ads to web series to branded contents and feature films. Some of these films got selected in important festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival.
João is a flexible creative who can adapt to evolving work situations and thrives when stepping outside his comfort zone and working in collaborative environments.
